Check out A|X Armani Exchange’s best Spring/Summer 2019 looks through Japan-based photographer Leslie Kee’s lens
A|X Armani Exchange has always exuded an energy that is quite indescribable. It’s trendy, it’s youthful, and it’s cool. Similarly, it’s the same energy we’d like to convey through our shoot with famed photographer Leslie Kee (who is Yohji Yamamoto’s go-to photographer, and has shot international superstars from Madonna and Lady Gaga to Jay Chou and Takuya Kimura), featuring Natalia Ng and Benjamin Hori. For Spring/Summer 2019, the brand is all about striking the perfect balance between casualwear and activewear, coupled with modernity and details from streetwear, varsity and rock ‘n’ roll—if it’s not the epitome of millennial fashion, we don’t know what is. And we meant it in the best way possible.
The womenswear collection this season has a feminine spirit with an effortless soul. Girly silhouettes in the form of maxi pep-hem skirts and fit-and-flare dresses were juxtaposed with utilitarian parkas and tailored trousers, coupled with a dose of A|X Armani Exchange’s signature logo, emblazoned on straps. Regardless of your style, there’s something for you in the collection.
Similarly, for men, the looks are well-rounded. The colour palette this season ranges from soft pink and bright red hues to rugged army green and rich navy blue, and some of our favourites from the line include: A matching hued denim jacket-and-shirt combo in army green tones that gives off a rugged edge, or simply swap the button-down with a hoodie for that added sporty flair. There are ensembles for any occasion, for sure.
